Frequently asked questions
The questions our sales desk answers most often, in the order they arrive.
If your question is not here, the contact page explains exactly what to send and what happens next.
Are you a Kobelco dealer or authorized distributor?
No. We are an independent supplier and we are not authorized for Kobelco. We supply Kobelco parts as genuine parts bought through original supply channels, or as OEM-quality and aftermarket equivalents, and we state which one on every line of a quote. We are formally authorized for five brands only: Garrett, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, TONGMYUNG, NIKURA and Marusan.
How much stock do you actually hold?
We hold 3,000+ part types on the shelf across four warehouses, each over 1,000 m². Beyond that, 100,000+ part numbers are available to order through original channels. Those two numbers mean different things: shelf stock ships immediately, available-to-order numbers carry a lead time. We tell you which applies to your order before you commit.
How do you confirm a part will fit?
From the machine model, the full serial number, and the part numbers you currently have. Serial number breaks are why two excavators of the same model can carry different pumps, injectors or final drives, so the model alone is not enough. Where a number is superseded we trace it to the current family. Fitment is confirmed before payment on every order.
What is the difference between genuine, OEM-quality and aftermarket?
Genuine is a part manufactured or supplied under the original equipment brand in original packaging. OEM-quality is made to the same specification, frequently by a manufacturer at the same tier, but is not branded by the machine builder. Aftermarket is made to a third-party specification, and quality varies widely between makers. On most repair jobs more than one grade is defensible; what is not defensible is not knowing which one you received, so we name the grade on every line.
Do you have a minimum order quantity?
It depends on the line. Many parts ship as single units. Some fasteners, seals, filters and ground-engaging parts are priced and packed in quantities, in which case the MOQ is stated on the quote before you commit rather than discovered afterwards.
What are your lead times?
Items in shelf stock are prepared for dispatch immediately. Parts sourced to order through original channels typically take longer, and the lead time is stated on the quotation for those lines. If a date is critical, tell us at inquiry stage and we will separate what is available now from what has to be sourced.
Which shipping terms do you work on?
FOB and CIF as standard, from Guangzhou and Shenzhen. We consolidate multi-item and multi-brand orders into one shipment where it makes sense, which is usually the reason a workshop or a trader buys across several lines from us rather than several suppliers.
Can you supply a part if I do not have the number?
Often yes. Send the machine model and serial number, describe the symptom, and if the component is off the machine read us the stamped or cast number from its housing. Pump, motor, injector and final drive housings normally carry enough identification to determine the assembly and its variants.
Do you supply for brands other than Kobelco?
Yes. Alongside Kobelco we supply Komatsu, Caterpillar, Hitachi, Volvo, Doosan, Hyundai, XCMG, Sany, Kato and others through original channels, plus Garrett turbochargers and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries engine parts under authorization.
Is the technical content on this site manufacturer-approved?
No, and it is not presented as such. The guides describe general diesel-hydraulic excavator practice gathered from workshop experience. Where a figure is model-specific we say so and direct you to confirm it against your machine's nameplate or service documentation. Use them to diagnose intelligently and to have a better conversation with us, not as a substitute for the manufacturer's own manual.
Do you sell to machinery traders and repair workshops as well as end users?
Yes. We supply parts traders, repair workshops, rental fleets and contractors. Buying across several lines from one desk, with grade stated and fitment confirmed, is what the wholesale side of the business is built around.
How do I start an inquiry?
Go to the contact page. Send the machine model, serial number, the part numbers you have and the quantity. Photographs of the nameplate and the failed component help more than you would expect.
Need the parts this covers?
Send the machine model, serial number and the part numbers you need. We confirm fitment before payment and state the grade of every line — genuine, OEM-quality or aftermarket.
